Pam Kavanagh

Health and fitness have been an important part of my life since I was young. As a high school and college athlete, maintaining my fitness level was associated with sports.  After college and graduate school (Masters in Social Work), I began running and doing basic strength training to maintain my fitness level. My career continued as did my passion for health and fitness.  I continued running and added other sports, such as basketball, soccer, ultimate frisbee, and triathlon.  I have completed multiple marathons and triathlons, including 2 Ironman 70.3 triathlons.  I have been working with Essential Fitness as a personal trainer since 2011.

In 2010, I completed an AAS degree in Health and Wellness promotion and became a certified by the American College of Sports Medicine (Health Fitness Specialist). My career path has changed to focusing on health and fitness.
